Pokemon Edition 3DS XL Shocking Fans On March 24th

With the imminent release of of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity coming up soon Nintendo has a surprise for Pokemon fans. They will be releasing a Pikachu Edition 3DS XL so that fans can follow along the story with their most iconic Pokemon to date.

The new Pokemon 3DS XL will feature Pikachu in a bright yellow console which includes the the usual built-in cameras for chat and picture-taking purposes, an interactive touch screen and the glasses-free 3D display and a 4GB SD card. The new 3DS will set you back $200 bucks so if you already have one you might want to trade yours in to not lose too much cash on the new 3DS XL.

The package will unfortunately not come bundled together with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity however they will be featuring a promo where if you buy either mystery dungeon or the new Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon by april 30th you will be able to pick a free game from a list featuring Super Mario 3D Land, Star Fox 64 3D and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.

You can pick up your Pikachu Edition 3DS XL on March 24 for $200 bucks or just pick up your copy of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity and destroy some Pokemon.
