Apple’s Back to the Mac event is ending on a high note: an all-new updated MacBook Air has been announced.
The new Air product line will, much like the iPad, have “instant on” access, longer battery life,amazing standby time, magical solid state storage ( be gone!) along with the usual act of making everything thinner and lighter. There will be no .
It’ll be of unibody construction. In the specifications department, you get a C2D processor along with Nvidia GeForce 320M GPU, multitouch trackpad, FaceTime and a 1440×900 13.3” LED backlit display and it weighs only 2.9 pounds.
What surprised us though is that the Air has a little brother too: a 1366×768 11.6” one, to be precise. It will have a slower C2D processor, smaller battery life and and weigh 2.3 pounds.
